Am I able to hook up audio video cords to my Roku TV and connect to my receiver?

Depends on the type of connections that your receiver and TV have.  Usually best to connect via HDMI (Arc) if the receiver and TV have those connections.  If you have an older receiver, then you would have to try to use the other audio cables (whether RCA or optical) and hope that your TV has those connections as well or try to use a converter.
