I’m also having this issue, started about a month ago. I get 30 seconds before the Airplay Stream stops. I never had this problem before then, fails when using prior phone too
iPhone 13Pro
iPhone 16 ProMax
iOS 18.1 (22B83)
Roku TV TCL C157
serial X000004WL9L5 (S087716WL9L5)
software vers. 14.0.4 build 12221-93
tracker Id: L5-465-333
The TV is typically off(standby) when I connect to airplay and it would just play through to the connected stereo. Now it will play but shutoff after 30 seconds.
restarting router, updating all HomeKit devices (there is an Apple TV on the network), reconnecting TV to WiFi, restarting TV, nothing fixes it. Multiple apps streaming from Spotify, VLC, etc will not continue to play and just stop after 30 seconds
Thanks for reaching out here in the Roku Community, kilobyte!

I see we are still dealing with this issue. I've tried different routers, changed WiFi settings, nothing seems to mitigate this issue. When can we expect a fix?

Hi! kilobyte
It seems that AirPlay still having trouble connecting to your device. As checked, we saw that you posted 10 months ago. We'd like to know if within this duration has the issue been resolved at any point over the past few months, or has it popped back up again recently?
Let us know when you can!

I have tried to be patient with this and just monitor the thread waiting, but this reply makes me incredulous.
Your responses show that either you are AI, tone deaf, or minimum wage. Of course, we are ALL still having this issue. You have never provided a solution at all. Why would you think it has been resolved? Where have you posted a resolution? Isn't the regular stream of people saying me too evidence enough that the issue persists?
Please don't respond with some ridiculous response. What we need, what we want, quite frankly, what we deserve, is a real response. What is being done? What have the devs said? Is this issue on the internal bug board to be worked on? What priority has it been given?
Give us a real response, if you can't get your supervisor, a dev, or whoever can give a real response.

Ditto. Airplay for video works fine when using screen mirroring from the control panel on my iPhone, but airplay cuts out when using the "broadcast to" button from within an app. Really problematic - there's no way to tell if this is an iOS issue or a Roku issue - only you guys would know that from when the complaints started coming in and if you made any code changes that would affect Airplay. I will say that an in-app "broadcast to airplay" button works fine connecting to my Mac Studio, and when an airplay connection dies to the Roku, it still says it's connected on both the iphone and the roku device. (The Roku is a year old Roku Ultra)
