Wire-Free Video Doorbell SE will not charge

Battery went from 62% yesterday to ZERO today.  Battery will not charge.  Unit will power up with USB Cable attached and will pair as it should, but battery does not charge.  This has been in service for barely a year.  What is going on?

    The wire-free video doorbell appears to have lost its ability to hold a charge. We'd like to get more info:

    • When you plug it in, does the charging light turn on or blink?
    • Have you tried using a different USB cable and power adapter?
    • Have you noticed any performance issues before the battery failed?
