Thanks for trying those steps! Sometimes the sleep routine just needs a fresh start. Try deleting it and setting up a new one from scratch—usually does the trick! For more info, check out here.

I had to create a whole new one when I redownloaded the app, problem persists.

It seems that after doing those steps the issue still persists. Here's another workaround that might help.
Factory reset your light.
- Power on your bulb
- Turn the light switch off and on 3 times
