Roku Camera is making static and clicking sounds after the firmware upgrade

I have 12 cameras CS1000X (firmware 7.0.0-build 37-FD and 7.0.0-build 26-FD). Ever since they upgraded to these firmware versions the cameras make a loud static, and clicking noise, and its loud and can be heard over 20 feet away.

I have to unplug them momentarily to reset them and they are then find for a while, sometimes for days other times only for a few minutes.

I have factory reset them all, confirmed the wifi single is between -60db -50db for any of the camaras. I have reset the wifi multiple times but that doe snot prevent the issue.

how can I stop this. its annoying and I even had a neighbor knock on my door to tell me my driveway camera was making noise. I have checked for a new firmware and it show I have the latest. is there any way to load and older firmware?

    Hey, JayL

It sounds like you're having some trouble with your Roku cameras with static and a clicking sound. Thanks for trying out some troubleshooting steps. Let's get more details on this.

    • Have you checked if the mic has turned on from the live stream?
    • If possible, a video of the issue would be great.
