Hi kfarquhar1127,
Thanks for your first post in the Roku Community!
We noticed your post about experiencing an issue with your Roku Smart Home app. Specifically, when you try to view the albums of your Roku Outdoor camera, it prompts you to grant permission to access photos and videos from your phone. We are happy to provide additional information about this matter.
We need to confirm that the album you are referring to is from the Roku Outdoor camera live stream/feed when you click the "More" icon. Is that correct?
When your Roku Smart Home app asks for permission, it's because it needs access to certain features to ensure your safety and security. However, if you prefer to limit the app's access to your videos and photos in your phone's gallery, you can select the "Keep Current Selection" option.
We hope you find this information helpful. Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist you.
Regards,
Riamie

Same thing here. Pixel 9 pro XL
App version 3.2.4 (455)
Android version 15.
All permissions manually checked and allowed.
Verified issue exists on Samsung tablet as well. Cameras and albums work fine on iPhone.
When pressing the album button a small black box flashes briefly at the bottom of the screen and says need permission. The app does not continue to any screen to grant a specific permission. App has access to photos, storage, location.
