Roku Express+ 3910RW - 14.5.4 Build 5934 to 5937

For Roku Express+, Roku 3, and Roku Stick had several issues trying to update each. I went to extremes and disconnected each and swapped the stick to my den so I could use my phone as the remote ( remote not functioning), Roku express from master bedroom upstairs (has repeater) to living room (added repeater due to signal drop -Frontier fiber line, and moved Roku 3 with larger capacity memory card for faster loading to master Bedroom since express was not updating by wfi. No express is not updating from 14.5.4 build 5934 to 5937. About ready to try with laptop. Suggestions?

    I'm having the same issue with Roku Express 3930x and it updated a few days ago successfully too Build 5934, but now it says the ROKU is not connected to the internet but it is, connection is excellent.  I'm guessing it's something missing in their software update that is beyond fixable by the consumer.  I can still watch using Build 5934, but have to turn the TV off and back on to get rid of the black screen from Build 5937.  My ISP provider says it's not them and to check with ROKU's software programmer so here I am.
