photo orientation wrong when doing slideshow from usb

I bought 2 Roku TV's to use for slideshow of my family photos. I uploaded pictures onto USB and they easily displayed on the TV's in a slideshow, however, the orientation of most pictures is incorrec...

This is frustrating, but after alot of troubleshooting I was able to correct the orientation.  Open the picture in windows photos, click edit, click the orientation that matches your picture.  So instead of selecting original, which in my case was 3:4 i selected 3:4.  After this do a save as.  Load the pics back to your stick and they should display properly.  Not sure why this worked, but I tried it all.  I am using EasyShow for my slide show.
