App submission with new RokuOS 15 API
Hello, I would like to implement the new Roku OS 15 functionality but when submitting to the store the latest minimum supported firmware is version 14. Is it safe to submit the app with new API or should I wait until version 15 of Roku OS is available in the list? Is it possible to know when it will be available? Cheers
Our Cathe OnDemand App crashes when a user tries to log in.
Our Cathe OnDemand App started crashing this afternoon when users tried to log in. We use Back4App as part of the login process. Can you tell me if the problem is with Back4App or did a version change to Roku happened today that caused this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as it will help me to find the correct developer to fix the issue.
Add Countries to Channel
I have a published screensaver. Currently it is on available in the US and Canadian stores, I would like to add it to all the other countries. I have configured all the languages available. When I try to add countries and Save I get an error that says "ProductSvc update failed". I have done the basics, clear cache, different browsers, even different computers. Help please and thank you !!
Need Roku Consultant Help
Having trouble with my custom Roku channel app that keeps crashing when users try to launch it. The app works fine in the Roku simulator but crashes immediately on actual devices with a generic error message. Built the channel using BrightScript and it passed basic validation, but something is wrong when it runs on real hardware. App just shows loading screen then goes back to home. Need someone who knows Roku development to help debug this. Have to get this channel working by Thursday for our content launch.can change the name of publish channel
A question, is it possible to change the name of an already published Roku channel? holigo tv is no longer secure with the service. It has a large audience and I don't want to lose that audience. What can I do to continue with the channel with another name? th streaming company change evryting
Where do I find testers?
I am looking for someone to test my beta app. Since it is sound system related I am trying to find individuals with different versions of Roku device and different versions of sound systems. Where do you guys find testers for your apps? Did you buy all (or more than one) Roku devices and test app by yourself? If you are willing to test my app that would be great, but that is not a long term solution for developers in general!Published Screen Saver Not in Store
I created a screen saver and received the email that it was published. I can find the screen saver on roku.com without issue: Halloween Screen Saver Channels | TV Apps | Roku Channel Store | Roku However, the screen saver does not appear in the app store on the TV. Hi. I need an advice. I need to implement skippable Ads on Roku. I use RAF to render Ads. According to the documentation, there is a method (setAdExit), which allows to skip Ads using Back button. It marked as deprecated though it currently works. But I need to implement the "full" version of skippable Ads, including countdown timer and Skip button. Does RAF have a built in functionality for this (there is no info in the documentation)? What other choices I have except RAF? Thanks.
