I have the ONN 5.1.2 surround sound system Roku TV compatible, paired to my 98” ONN Roku TV via eArc HDMI. If I buy a set of Roku wireless speakers, could they connect wirelessly to the TV and play in sync with my surround sound system? I know the speakers will not connect to my sound bar but they will connect to the TV. The question is, can I use both eArc or optical and wireless at the same time? Essentially 2 systems playing in sync
Sorry but no. You can't have a soundbar and Roku wireless speakers connected to Roku tv at the same time. It's one or the other. A Roku ready speaker only means it will work with Roku remote. Even if they were all Roku devices, a Roku tv can't have both soundbar and Roku wireless speakers paired at the same time. What you can do is have a true Roku Streambar connected to the Roku tv and then have the Roku wireless speakers paired to Roku Streambar itself. Then the wireless speakers would be surround sound speakers instead of being mains.
