Welcome to the Roku community!
We're glad to help you with your problem with private listening with your headphones. You can restart your Roku device by unplugging the power cable, waiting a moment, and then reconnecting it. If possible, try a different pair of headphones. You can also check that your headphones are working properly by listening to them on another device, and try stopping and resuming the movie or TV show you are watching.

Have you tried contacting your TV manufacturer about this? If not, we would recommend doing that and reporting this. This may be related to a hardware problem. Please contact your TV's manufacturer directly to report this issue and request additional support. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS.
