I am not really sure why Newsmax and RAV don't show up under the News category on the Roku Channel Live TV. I did notice some others on left did not show either.
It does save on my Favorites, but some Rokutvs are currently having issues with their guides (especially Favorites), so that may be part of the issue you are seeing.
This also happens on the Movies category also though. (Not every movie channel is listed in the category). Since this category implementation is kind of new, thinking just not all the bugs worked out yet.
Just remember Newsmax is 190, RAV is 194, and OAN Plus is 196.
Have a reference guide for channels for Roku Channel LiveTV is you want it in another thread https://community.roku.com/t5/Channels-viewing/Roku-Channel-Live-TV-Guide-List-Reference-List/m-p/782468
We have had similar experience. However, what we would like to know is why Fox News is the only major news network that requires a paid subscription on Roku. I understand that is a Fox decision but why? Don’t they make enough from cable or satellite service fees? There is a large population of voters that can’t afford to add another monthly subscription fee. I’m guessing most don’t take the time and effort it takes to find balanced news reports that are free. NBC, CBS, etc… make it easy. We need balanced commentary widely available.

SJ180 Fox news isn't the only one that requires a subscription/TV Provider. CNN does as well, and so does NewsMax, CNBC and others. No, they don't feel they make enough from cable/satellite, and in many cases they don't actually offer a direct subscription. You must have a TV provider, which means cable, satellite, or one of the streaming providers such as Fubo TV, YouTube TV or Sling TV. Virtually none of them are "free", they all require some kind of subscription.
