Updated Newsmax App Will Not Open

It is working for me just now.
I've got it working now too (but am keeping my fingers crossed because I got it to work a couple of times yesterday and the day before, but it didn't "stick").
One thing that I did this time was, instead of clicking on Roku Channel and then from inside there, clicking on Newsmax (which is what I usually do), I didn't click on Roku Channel and instead, clicked on "Newsmax" on that Roku home screen. When I did that, it did come up with a login screen (asked for my email address and password). I entered my Newsmax Plus login there. That did bring up the Newsmax Plus screen. I had to hit the "Play" button to start the streaming.
Even when you're presumably watching Newsmax Plus, though, it doesn't say "Newsmax Plus" or "Newsmax +" in the bottom left on the screen of the show you're watching: it still says "Newsmax." But I guess it is still Newsmax, because Newsmax2 is now what you can get for free; and they do show a "2" when you're watching Newsmax2. But then what's the "Plus" for? It's like they have two names for the new subscription service, Newsmax Plus and also, just Newsmax.
I paid the annual subscription. It worked the first night after restarting my Roku but now when I try to open it I get an Error Code [errorcode] message and when I hit the more info button I'm informed that I need to subscribe and I'm only offered the monthly option.
This has been going on since yesterday morning. I'm hoping they'll have it resolved come Monday.
Same thing happened to me. I went to newsmaxplus.com and it showed no payment. So I set up my payment for annual and it worked after shutting TV off and unplugging Roku and restarting. But here we are next morning gray screen nothing. Grr
I have the exact same problem although I have never been able to watch live Newsmax plus...paid full year through Roku and can't even watch! Trying since Saturday with absolutely no success.. they are fast to take the full year but forget the service! And yes I've also got the error code message and prompting me to pay for a monthly subscription! Called Roku they sent me to Newsmax customer service left several messages with phone numbers and still nothing! So disappointed, wish I knew what else to do
Same problem here. I can't get Newsmax customer support to answer me. I've sent emails and left voicemails on the phone. Been going on since Friday
Went in just before and it was fine so we’ll see tonight when we go to watch Rob Schmidt. I had trouble with Newsmax app even before the Newsmax + went into effect. Same trouble getting in and getting bumped off when in sometimes.
Besides watching Roku on the live channel and bringing up Newsmax that way and it is a pain in the ass too bad Roku doesn’t get an app for this anyway you could go on Pluto bring up the app and set Newsmax as your favorites so every time you hit Pluto Newsmax will come up hope it helps that’s three days worth of hard work trying to figure all this **bleep** out thank you Newsmax !! and I mean that sarcastically I’ve been working my ass off promoting you
OK let’s try this again you didn’t buy it directly from newsmaxplus.com correct because if you didn’t you won’t be able to upload it onto your Roku app which needs to be updated so you have to remove the app and update it once you put it back in Roku has already done their updates so it should work fine it does for everybody else now however if you didn’t make a good payment you use the bad credit card or the payment didn’t go through and it’s asking you for your password and your email repeatedly that means you need to talk to billing Because it’s not responding to your payment. So if you did pay through newsmaxplus.com you should be able to stream on Roku live app in Roku also the Newsmax app once you get rid of it and bring it back up again refresh it and then update it and any other apps through Roku and you can also get it on Pluto and make it your favorite so you can open it right up every time you going to Pluto app and that’s it the only reason you’re having a problem is because you tried to pay for it through the app you can’t do that
Can't get the new app on Pluto. Just the Newsmax 2. I did pay directly to Newsmax. Any suggestions?
When I subscribed to Newsmax+ through ROKU, I did get the new program for about 2 weeks, then it quit and I now can't get on at all. Newsmax needs to get these sign on glitches fixed or I'm going to cancel my subscription and go back to FOX.
OK cool your Jets with a company gross this fast and everybody’s use the app at once they have to keep renewing it and refreshing it so refresh your app on Roku if that does not work then get rid of the app and bring it back up again because it’s got new improved Options on it all the time to help support The enormous amount of people using Newsmax now that’s a good thing if you have any problems let me know and I’ll walk you through it again. I woke up this morning in the Newsmax app was gone altogether so I knew they had to do an update I went back and got the new app and it started working just fine right now
