How come I need to upgrade to Crave Premium TV ? I just purchased a Roku Express HD. It’s very annoying

Why do you "need" to? There's not a lot of info in your post. I looked up Crave and see that they have three plan levels. As you go up in plan levels, you get additional things like 4K, more simultaneous streams, live channels, offline downloads and ad-free.
I'm wondering if it might be the "live channels"??? If so, are you aware that adding a Roku to your TV doesn't subtract features from the TV? ie: you can still pick up the TV remote and switch to the antenna input any time you like.
