Unable to Play Multiple Apps

Hello,

I have tried everything - from updates to restarts to reinstalls - and nothing works. Out of 29 apps (only on one of my three Roku tvs), I can only open 6.

    To help us look into the problem, please provide these details:

    • What exactly is the behavior of the apps? Is it freezing, loading, or returning to the home screen?
    • What specific apps are not opening?
    • A video or photo would be helpful.

    In the meantime, try to check your internet connection.

      Hello RokuRhea-V,

      My internet connection is perfect. I have tried "all of the things," including restarts and updates. Nothing has worked.

      Suddenly, after having this TV for two years, just three days ago in the morning when I turned my RCA Roku TV on, this is what happened:

      The apps refuse to load/they immediately return to the home screen.

      The apps that do not open are: Hulu, Paramount+, Starz, AMC+, Disney, Peacock, HBOMax, PlutoTV, HGTVGo, YouTube, QVC, PBS, and Roku Channel.

      I uninstalled and reinstalled Hulu and Paramount so now, instead of immediately returning to the home screen, I get an error message that says they could not be run because they could not be reinstalled from the network. And, "Please check your network connection and try again." Once again, my network connection is perfect.

      I am still able to play AppleTV, PrimeVideo and Netflix.

      Well, that's how it's going! It is very disappointing. Thank you, and I hope someone can fix it.

      P.S. Could this have anything to do with the new Backdrops being added to my Roku?

        Thanks for keeping us posted, clanders9c​!

        Looks like you're having some issues with the apps on your Roku TV. Do you have any cellular data? If so, let’s see if connecting your device to your hotspot helps.
