Unable to log in with the TV provider for NESN 360

The "Sign in with TV Provider" link sends you to a page that offers to send your Roku account email, to save you the trouble of entering it manually.

If your NESN account is under a different email address than your Roku account, press "Use different email" instread of "Continue".

But what is my Roku account and my tv provider account use the same email address?  I have tried using my Roku password and I have tried using my tv provider password at this screen and still nothing works to connect
