Welcome to the Roku Community, RobandKeva!
Thanks for sharing your concern about the audio issue you're experiencing with your Roku Ultra. We'd like to help you resolve this so you can continue watching your favorite shows.
To isolate the issue, have you tried connecting the Roku Ultra directly to the TV's HDMI port and see if the issue persists? Also, try changing to a high-speed HDMI cable and observe if it'll do the trick.
Please let us know what you find out.
Best,

Do you mean no sound at all or just no sound from the TV? On my setup, no sound from the TV is my goal. But if that’s not what you want, make sure the AVR is set to pass audio and the TV volume is not down/muted. Of course, no sound from the AVR's speakers is a different problem.

I changed from Direct TV stream to Roku Ultra. Same HDMI cables - Ultra to AVR (HDMI 1 input to AVR), AVR to Samsung TV (HDMI 1 output to Samsung). I get sound from the AVR no problem. However, no sound from the TV speakers. When using the Direct Steam C71KW-400 box to the AVR and then to the Samsun TV, I could mute the AVR and use the TV speakers. My wife prefers to use the TV speakers when she watches. No sound from the Samsung TV.
