A surge protector is fine. But always plug it directly into a power source. Not USB power

      Okay, I tried that and a few things with the actual tv but it’s still saying the roku is off

        Amynicole, if it's saying your Roku is off after you haven't used it in a while try pressing Home on your Roku remote to wake it up.
