Roku no longer supporting VidAngel

I cannot believe Roku would pull a stunt like this. Hopefully they don’t become obsolete in the next 5-10 years. Amazon and Google might take the market by storm because they are allowing VidAngel into their stores as public channels and actually listening to what their customers want - let the customer have options. 

Roku, we are so upset by this!!! We use VidAngel all the time and just bought our 4th Roku TV BECAUSE OF VIDANGEL and RIGHTNOWMEDIA. Why won’t you let them add the app to your store?! This is ridiculous! #vidangel

Roku needs to approve VidAngel's app!

Huge tech companies like Apple and Amazon have approved the app. Seriously Roku? I've used your products since 2009 and you basically block the main reason I use your device. Major oof. Either bring back unlisted channels or publish VidAngel's channel. Otherwise I'm scrapping all of my Rokus and going with a platform that actually listens to their users. Obviously you aren't so far.

I have several older Roku devices that I was getting ready to upgrade.  If the VidAngel app is no longer supported I will begin making the shift to another provider.

Our family has been buying and using Rokus for over a decade. We currently have about five Roku devices being used regularly. I just want Roku to certify VidAngel because I have no idea what to do if they don't. This is no the news I wanted.

I bought Roku devices to be able to filter streaming content through VidAngel, also.

I guess I'll be buying FireSticks to replace all of my personal Roku devices (4)  and to replace all of the Roku devices (27) that I bought for my kids and grandkids for Christmas this year.

I too watch many shows on Roku/Vidangel and am most disappointed that that will no longer work.  I have three locations that I have a combination of over 6 Roku players used by my family to enjoy Vidangel content via our Roku Players.  Please reconsider and allow Vidangel to continue via the Roku Players.

We have almost 10 Roku devices in our home. I love Roku for their clean UI and parental controls but if they pull support for VidAngel then i'll be pulling the Roku devices out of my home.

VidAngel is the ONLY way we consume media...no VidAngel = no Roku devices in our home.

Once we pull the Roku devices, we will never be coming back to Roku again!

All the families in our church group will have no choice but to stop buying Roku products after February 23. We use VidAngel so we can block certain content. They have the best app of all the apps we use. Been a customer since 2017 but I can’t stay without VidAngel to filter content. We will switch to Fire.
