Roku Channel Closed Caption issue

When I am watching the RokuChannel (Version 13.10 Build 5) on my 482X - Roku Ultra (Version 14.6) the closed captions are not working on a number of shows.

I've viewed the same shows on the web player and the app on multiple other devices, and the captions work fine.

Looking at the "Captions & Audio Track" menu, it says the captioning track is "Not available" as you can see below.  In this case the "The Great American Baking show S3E1" is what's being watched.

Morimoto's Sushi Master Season 2 doesn't work... Season 1 does.
The Great American Baking Show works for S1 and S2, S3 does not. 

Again, these work on the web and the phone app- it's ONLY a problem on the app directly on the roku.

I've done everything I can think of, including completely factory resetting the Roku and setting it up from scratch- it continues to say there is no captioning track.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to fix this? It sure feels like the format changed and the app just doesn't know how to reproduce the more current format...
