Are you using the proper credentials? You should be using whatever email address and password you've established with BritBox and not your Roku account email and password.

I tried to sign in with both Roku email and password and Brit Box email and password. Neither is accepted. I have had uninterupted service for 2 years.

Are you located in US and subscribe/pay directly to Britbox? If so, go to the Britbox website https://www.britbox.com/us/ and try to sign-in there.
It is possible you might need to change your password if you haven't in awhile. Sometimes just selecting "forgot password" or "reset password" is all that is needed. (some services just lock you out with no message that a password reset is needed).

Requiring a periodic password reset is universally agreed to be useless for security. It's nothing but a royal pain in the arse.

What do you mean by proper credentials?
Roku is accepting my money - not Britbox?
This is stupid and unhelpful.

Rather than responding that one's advice is stupid and unhelpful, perhaps just ask for clarification since the confusion is on your end..
In this case, someone who understands the Roku platform far better than you was verifying/inquiring that the proper credentials (user name and password) was being entered by the user.
There is more than one way to get Britbox on Roku. If you pay for "Britbox on the Roku Channel" (pay Roku), you will have different login credentials than if you ordered Britbox directly from Britbox (pay Britbox), or if you subscribed to Britbox through Prime Video. (pay Amazon Prime and use Prime credentials).

If I sign up for Britbox via Roku, I expect my Roku userid and password to work with Britbox. Just as every other streaming channel does. I have the same problem. I can watch it on my Roku devices. But its a no-go on any PC, laptop, or mobile device.
The consensus seems to be that Britbox isn't playing by the same rule that every other streaming service does when it comes to the use of Roku login credentials.
