Spectrum app availability

I’m wanting to cut cable and I already have spectrum internet so will I be able to get the spectrum app for free ?

Typically, you would need TV service for TV, even with a cable service. At best, you may have access to some free stuff, but no local TV or cable channels. Basically, the app is just a virtual cable box.
