Paramount Plus app having a problem with payment

Paramount Plus app will open but is having a problem with payment from Roku and will not let me stream but will show me all the wonderful shows that I would like to be watching, I made sure that I updated the Roku app and my credit card of which is working fine because Roku charged on it and also prime, when I go to the star on my remote for Paramount Plus it does not list removal of app so I can reinstall it please advise

      I am having the exact same issue. Roku payment method was updated, Paramount plus subscription was charged, but app won’t stream shows even though previews will play. When wanting to stream no error code just “We’re having trouble processing your payment through Roku…,”. It says if you already updated payment to sign out of the app and sign back in, but that does nothing.

        Also having the exact same issue and i have updated payment and the charges went thru and was paid but still saying the same thing!!!!

      Been having exact same issue. My payment information is correct through paramount but app will not let me watch anything. Tried it on all my Roku tvs. Won’t work on any. Deleted app, reinstalled. Unplugged, reset tv and checked for updates. Still won’t work. Any suggestions would be appreciated  thanks

        We understand you're having an issue with the payment on your Paramount+ account. We'd like to look into it.

        Can you share with us the details below:

        • Has the mode of payment on your Roku account already been added?
        • Can you share with us the error message after you subscribed to Paramount+?
        • Are there other apps having the same issue? If so, could you tell us what the app name is?
        • Are you directly subscribed to Paramount+ or through Roku Pay?

        For now, you can try adding/updating your payment method.

  • Ugh this is frustrating my payment hasn't changed I have been charged on ym card it went through. I still can't watch paramount on either my roku TV or my vizio tv and it's missing me off if I paid for it I should be able to watch it! Anyone able to fix it. I have updated app and TV i un-installed in and reinstalled it and still it says "we are having trouble processing your payment though roku please update your payment method if you have already done so sign out and sign back in" and it doesn't work

      Welcome to the Roku community!

      It looks like you're having trouble accessing your Paramount+ subscription on your Roku TV. Restarting the System might help fix this issue. Here's how: Home > Settings > System > Power > System Restart

  • We are having the same issue, BUT we pay for paramount plus through Apple….not Roku.  Why are we getting the message to update payment method in Roku 

  • I am having this issue as well. The charge is even pending in my bank account and can't even use the app. Has anyone gotten this issue resolved?

        Hello, 

        I am able to log into the app but when I try to select show, it tell me there is an issue with my Roku subscription with the app. I have updated my payment and made the  payment, logged in and out of the app, tried to update the app, tried update the Roku and restarted the roku. There is no option to delete the app. If there was I would have done that and the reinstalled the app. The charge on my account has been posted. This 2 days that I made the payment and the doesn't work properly.
