Since I don't think you've mentioned any specific game, I can't give you specific answers, but you might want to look into YouTube TV, fubo, Hulu live TV etc. to see if they have what you want.
Some of those big money sports apps on Roku like NFL and ESPN+ do come with all kinds of "terms". For example the NFL app says: "NFL Network and NFL RedZone are available to stream on an authenticated basis for eligible subscribers of Cox, DirecTV, DISH, Verizon Fios, FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, Optimum, Sling, Spectrum, Xfinity, YouTubeTV, and more!" So yeah, they like your money and they admit it openly. This is from here:

In any case, the NFL app, ESPN app, YouTube, fubo etc. are all under control of their own owners. Your little Roku gizmo can't really do anything about their terms and conditions.
I suspect you may be under the impression that a Roku box is a drop-in replacement for cable TV - it's not. However, things like YouTube TV are meant to be replacements, and you can get them through your Roku box, if you wish.
