New Problems With the Mentalist

Is anyone having problems with the app loading The Mentalist? I was watching Season 5 Ep 2 and all of the sudden my Roku freezes. When I go back in, the show won't even load any more. I can see it, but it won't play. Even was taken off my saved list. So frustrating!

    I am having same issue. I don’t even see it on the Roku channel where I saved it. Please fix

    It's not even showing up on my list anymore. I was really enjoying it. What happened?

      To repeat: It is a new month and what I assume was on The Roku Channel has expired. Content will constantly change. NEVER assume something will be available forever, especially on a free service. Even paid services have been pulling shows and movies to save money.

        By the same reasoning, never assume that if they offer a movie to watch you will see the entire movie. The argument is ridiculous.

    Same here. Last night, Feb. 1, even though I had the Mentalist on my preferred list, it disappeared. This raises two legal problems: 1. When I started watching it, all seasons and episodes were listed, and 2. The fact of selecting it as my preference implies that I have selected the entire series, not just one episode, or as many until they modify the list. These two problems make me think that this is false advertising.

    Ours vanished off our “favorites” list. We watched an episode yesterday morning then in the evening it no longer existed!!!

    Seriously???? ROKU please bring it back!!!   We are half way through and it is part of our nightly home ritual! 
    No foul language, nudity, funny and intriguing. 🤨 😡😠

    We appreciate your inquiry regarding the Mentalist channel. Please note that a channel may no longer be accessible on the Roku platform if you are unable to discover it in the Streaming Store. The channel publisher is in charge of developing and managing the channel.

    For more information, we advise you to get in touch with the channel publisher directly to ask for assistance and request them to update their channel on the Roku Platform.

      Chel…you didn’t really address the problem…your response speaks to apps being removed. The question remains…did Roku remove The Mentalist?

      Your post is semi-helpful but more informaton is needed. For example, how does one contact the publisher?

      Please clarify terminology. 

      Mentalist is not a "channel" from what I can tell, and I do not see a "streaming store" anywhere. 

      To find the show, from Roku Home click "What to Watch", then "TV shows and Movies" and search for Mentalist. It is as TV series on the Roku channel.

      It looks like Roku removed the show from the Roku TV channel.

      Please advise how to get Mentalist added back to Roku.

      Hi RokuJechealR ,

      Your post really doesn’t address the issue. The Mentalist is neither a channel nor an app. It is a TV show that was available on the Roku app. 

      The question is has The Mentalist been removed from the Roku app? Yes or No.

      If no, then there is a glitch similar to what has happened in the past with this show and we’d like it fixed.

    Same problem, all of a sudden it was no longer on the Continue Watching list. We only watch it 4 or 5 days a week, but it is a favorite. It makes you wonder about how much of a handle the platform really has on it's channels. Most would let you know it was only on for a limited time.

    When I tried to stream it Roku said the title was unavailable? Is anyone else having this problem right now?

      Yes! We were up to season 6 episode 2, we watched it then later in the day we were going for the next one and it was gone!!! Unable to find it on our list of frequently watched. Searched (frantically) and found we could buy a season on prime or pay for a subscription on another platform to continue watching!!??? What the heck?

    The Mentalist is streaming on HBO Max and I picked up right where I left off.  Best of luck!

      True, I found The Mentalist on MAX…but I preferred it when FREE on Roku. I don’t really want to add another monthly streaming cost.
