Mr.Beast on Roku main screen

Does anybody else feel like it’s totally inappropriate to have Mr. Beast featured on the Roku TV main screen? Considering the fact he had an employee that engaged in very inappropriate if not illegal behavior with a child, that Mr. Beast had a registered SX offender on his staff and knew about it, that Mr. Beast engaged in torture of one of his employees and made several racist remarks as well. I think Roku needs to explain why their promoting that

Welcome to the Roku Community, Smcook77!

Thanks for reaching out. We'd be happy to provide further information regarding this matter.

Occasionally, ads have been misclassified as sensitive content or have a subjective interpretation. Roku only classifies ads based on the content of the banner image itself, not the movie or show it represents.

In this case, you may hide this specific ad by sharing your ad preferences, you can control the types of ads shown on the Home Screen and screensaver of your Roku streaming device.

    1. Press Home on your Roku remote
    2. Scroll and select Settings
    3. Select Privacy
    4. Select Advertising
    5. Select Sensitive ad content
    6. Select one or more sensitive ad categories
    7. Press OK

Roku allows you to limit the types of ads shown on your device, by either hiding individual ads or limiting certain ad categories. For reference, here's the support article: How to manage ad preferences

I hope you find this information helpful.

    Best regards,
    Carly
