MASN Everywhere crashing on Roku

I have this problem now on my Premier Plus.  An app (MASN Everywhere) sits on the title screen and after 30 seconds the jumping ROKU letters are up. I have a couple of Roku sticks where the app works perfectly, so it seems to be a problem on the premier plus. Any ideas?

    Please be aware that we have passed along your concerns to the channel partner to investigate the issue further.

    If you are still experiencing an issue with playback on the MASN channel, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

    We appreciate you for bringing this information to us, and we understand the issue you're going through. Since you're experiencing this only with one of your Roku streaming devices, let's troubleshoot this. As a start follow the steps below:

    1. Remove the MASN channel by highlighting it from the channel tile, and pressing the star (*) button. Then select the remove option.
    2. Do a system restart by navigating to Settings > System > System Restart.
    3. Add the channel back by searching for it from the "Streaming Store."

    Once performed, kindly check to see if the issue has been resolved. Please keep us posted on how it works.

    We're sorry to hear that you've been having this trouble with playing content on the MASN Everywhere. We would like to know how to identify and resolve any playback issues.

    We recommend performing the below steps and see if you can resolve the issue:

    1. Remove the channel from the Roku device
    2. Power cycle the Roku device, by disconnecting it from the power cable and reconnecting the device back to the power
    3. Re-add the channel back to the Roku device

      Thanks for the reply RokuMary-F.  I have removed the channel, unplugged the Roku, and added the channel back.  It still has the same issue.  I also did a complete factory restart yesterday and that did not fix the issue.  The app starts on the title screen and then the Roku completely restarts.  I have 3 Roku sticks in the house that do not have this problem.

        I am having the exact same problem with the MASN app on Roku, and have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, power cycling the Roku, and running a system update, but it is still not working. The screen freezes on the MASN logo for 30+ seconds then automatically resets the Roku every time. Does anyone have a site/email to contact MASN everywhere app to report the problem?

  • I am having the same issue  The other roku sticks are working but not this one.  I have tried every thing you recommended nothing has fixed it.

      We appreciate your patience regarding this matter. We understand that you are having an issue streaming the MASN Everywhere channel.

      Please be advised that each channel on the Roku platform is built and maintained by the channel provider themselves. If you encounter an issue within a channel that isn't occurring in every other channel on your device, you'll want to contact the channel provider directly to report the issue and request additional support.

      Please let us know if there are other related issues that we can further take a look at.

        Mary,

        I honestly think it is a Roku issue since it is only certain Roku devices that are the problem. The same app works fine on my Roku Ultra but not on my Roku Streambar Pro or my other Roku sticks. It is just my Roku Streambar Pro that the MASN app glitches on. 

        Do Roku software updates roll out at the same time for every type of Roku device or are the released by device?
