Re: [Solved] Roku TV - Black screen on Live TV Channel

After the new update, I noticed that some live streaming channels plays well for few minutes after switching. But a couple of minutes later the picture go dark while sound still on.

This does NOT occur if I use the same channel on it's own APP outside Roku live stream. For instant, skynews live channel #143 this occurs every time I switch to that channel from one of on-the-air channels. But if I go to skynews app, this does not happen. So that means it is NOT a problem with the TV but it is a problem with the Roku OS.

    MY LIVE TV IS ACTING FUNNY IT PLAYS BUT THE AFTER AWHILE IT JUST GOES BLANK NO SOUND OR ANYTHING..WHAT SHOULD I DO IVE ALREADY DONE A FACTORY RESET

        Thanks for sharing your issue with the Live TV on The Roku Channel, with a black screen but playing with audio. We have coordinated this with our team. Please share with us the following:

        • Roku model, serial number, and device ID. (All can be found in Settings > System > About)
        • Tracker ID, OS version, and build (press the Home button followed by the Back button 5 times on your Roku remote)
        • Roku Channel build version (highlight the app and press the star (*) button of your Roku remote)

      Try checking for updates and make sure your internet is stable. If it still happens, contact support for help.
