How to remove "Recommendations row" on Home Screen

Yes get rid of the top picks on the TV menu screen.  It is worthless and irritating.  Seriously dislike it.

  • Hey there! dmleclair

The "Top Picks" on your Roku Home Screen can be removed by following these steps:

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Select Home Screen
    3. Select Recommendation rows
    4. Put a check mark on "Hide"

Wow, thanks Sherlock, but it's the "Live TV Screen" not "Home Screen" that we're concerned with.  Try again.  Older Roku TVs don't have this issue, newer ones do.

        Thanks for clarifying that, bluerojo7!

The "Top Picks"  on the Roku Live TV guide has no option to be removed at the moment, but we'll take this one as feedback.

      TY

This worked to make “recommended” go away from appearing top of “guide” screen, but it required a power cycle to apply the change after toggling the setting by itself didn’t.

Thanks for doing the extra mile, ROkooFlix!

Usually, there's no need to restart the system, but we appreciate that you took some extra steps to resolve it.
