This worked to make “recommended” go away from appearing top of “guide” screen, but it required a power cycle to apply the change after toggling the setting by itself didn’t.

Oops, responded too soon looks like this option is still in development. It worked on my Roku Pro Series TV after a system restart. But it was only temporary, they came back after a while. Was able to make them go away again with a system restart but they are always coming back after a while.
It didn’t work at all on my 4K TCL RokuTV.

The "Top Picks for You" appears on the "Guide" page, hitting the [Guide] button on the Roku Pro Remote.
