Food Network locked the programs "Not in a provider package."

Been watching programs on Food Network go but suddenly locked...says not in provider package, but it's my Spectrum package. Tried deleting and reinstalling.

  • Hi LD24

A warm welcome here at the Roku Community!

Thanks for reaching us here regarding your playback issue with the Food Network. No worries; we're here to find you the best resolution possible.

Just to clarify, when you removed the channel, did you also perform a system restart and then add the channel back again?

After rebooting your device's system, and the issue is still persistent, we highly recommend you contact the channel provider directly about this matter. They are the best ones who will further assist you with this, as many channels/apps on Roku are created, provided, and maintained by the channel services/providers themselves.

If you need further clarification or assistance, please don't hesitate to let us know.

    All the best,
    Carly

  • I am unable to log on to Food Network to Go where I believe all of the new episodes are? It says to link to my provider & all I have is Roku. It is not on the list. How do I find new episodes of Bobby Flay, Ina Garten, etc. ? Thank you

They want you to link to the service by which you are currently paying for the Food Network.  Examples of these are cable and satellite TV.  Choices via your Roku device include: Philo, Sling, YouTubeTV etc.

Here's a handy tool for finding packages based on the channels you want:
