DirecTV steak 4K on Streaming stick 4K

I currently have a Roku streaming stick 4K, SKU number 3820R2.  I am running a DIRECTV app with the latest version software installed. Whenever I select the DIRECTV 4K channels, I get the error “This device does not support 4K”.  The tv is a Samsung UHD Smart TV features Crystal processor with 4K AI upscaling.
