Direct TV app not playing

I love Roku,so I replaced all 4 TVs to 65 and 55 inch getting rid of my stick.heres my problem.with Dtv on my sticks I could brouse the guide while listening or watching TV.none of my TVs allow this.i deleted app which fixes problem for about 5 minutes.i also did the clear cache and even tried deleting all apps but Dtv.nothing.help.please don't blame the app as it works with even the 3900 express.again Help.

    I see you're having trouble with the DTV app. Here are a few steps you can try:

    • Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
    • Use the arrow buttons to highlight the app that’s not working.
    • Press the Star (✱) button to open the options menu.
    • Select Check for Updates.
    • After the update finishes, try opening the app again.

      Thanks for the reply.as I said above,I basically did that when I deleted app.just so I can say I tried it.i tried updating app.also checked through system update.i get some stupid gravity lock and allining solor panels.someones stupid idea of a joke..I'm guessing I'm getting a robot reply.can a real human chime in?

        Thanks for the additional information and for the troubleshooting steps you have tried. We understand you are having issues with the DirecTV app. Can you share more info? 

        • Can you still watch anything on the app, or is it completely refusing to play content now?
        • Does the issue start right away, or does it work briefly before failing?
        • Does this issue happen only on the DirecTV app? 
        • If possible, a video of the issue would be great.
