Channels thru an app and on ROKU
If I have MAX and Paramount Plus, for example, as an app, do I watch through the app or through ROKU? Can I delete the app and watch through ROKU so that I'm not double billed?

If by "through Roku" you mean through The Roku Channel (which is just another app on a Roku device) you are much better using a separate subscription (directly with MAX or Paramount+) than subscribing through Roku. With the separate subscription, you can watch the content you pay for on any device, including a web browser with most providers. If you subscribe through Roku, you can ONLY watch the content on a Roku device.
You won't be double-billed unless you subscribe to the same service through both places (direct and through Roku). Stick with the direct subscription with the provider.
