Can't watch Roku and other channels on Roku TV anymore

I was able to watch some Roku movies and soccer on Fubo until recently. Over the last few days it operates such that I can select a game or movie but all it ever does is spin the clock forever. For Roku it adds a 99% to the centre of the spinning wheel. What has happened?

  • Start by performing a "System restart" found under Settings->System or Settings->System->Power depending on your Roku model.  If that doesn't work, try restarting your network equipment (gateway/modem/router) and Roku device.  Just unplug the power from everything for several seconds and plug them back in.

This works for a minute.  Issue always returns on my TV.

So far mine still works right. Watched a movie last night. Did you disconnect modem and the rest for ample time and then reconnect, going from modem first to the TV box? I had done the reset on the system except the TV already, so when I did that part it worked fine. But the person who answered me probably knows more about it.

So if the system reboot doesn't work, what next? Hisense Roku bought in 2019.

  • All of a sudden Roku goes around and around. Says I am not connect to WIFI. Will not connect. I have turned off ruter and left off for 5 min. Still no pictures. Should I call Cox?

      Welcome, sandeemurphy567!

We're grateful to have you here in the Roku Community.

Thanks for reaching out, No worries! We're here to help you determine the cause of this and get you back on streaming.

Before proceeding, it would be helpful if you could provide us with additional information such as follows:

      • Have you recently made any changes to your network provider?
      • Are all of the apps available on your channel lineup affected by this?

In the meantime, kindly try to reset your network connection under Settings > Advanced system settings >Network connection reset >Reset connection. After doing so, set it up again and try any apps to see if this helps.

      Best regards,
      Carly
