Broken Britbox app needs fixed asap

Hi I am so frustrated! First off Roku has not way of getting a hold of them when you have a problem to me that is irresponsible and horrible business sense. I have worked for two hours trying to get the Britbox app fixed. I even reset it, I powered off and on. I cleared cache and still nothing. I did a factory reset and it is still broken.

I reset my password on Britbox because my credit card was hacked. Then I go to the app and it pops up some error when I try to go into the sign in settings then shots me back out to main page. I cannot even get into the sign in page. I contacted Britbox but like Roku and no costumer support for consumers. No real person to talk to but following self help pages that take you around in circles, Often Roku never responds to these messages have experienced that too. Need to find a services that actually helps people through the phone. If you all have any info on how to get Roku to fix the app that would be great!

    Roku does not control technical issues that the apps have, if it is an issue with the app itself and not the Roku OS.  You would need to contact Britbox support directly.  On Britbox's page, it looks like that they have tech support help with 24-hour chat, email or they can call you, although I assume that has to be pre-arranged with them.

    If it is device related, you could try these steps in this order and see if it helps. 1) Uninstall the Britbox app, then 2) a system restart in the settings page (or unplugging the device for 30 to 60 seconds).  Powering off with the power button will not clear the cache.  Then 3) plug the device back in and 4) reinstall the app and see if that helps.  CS hopefully can make some other suggestions if not.

    Hopefully that works for you.  It is possible there is some technical issue with Britbox itself though.  Maybe because you were hacked, they have locked your account or otherwise blocked it for some reason.
