Britbox--Does Roku Support 4k?

Britbox just announced a 4k tier. Before I end up asking for a refund if it doesn't work, does anyone know for sure if Roku devices support 4k for this channel?

    Just a heads-up: BritBox on The Roku Channel currently streams in HD only, so 4K isn’t available at the moment. If you're curious about future support for 4K or want the latest updates, it's best to reach out to BritBox directly.

    I'm not referring to The Roku Channel. I'm referring to the Britbox app for Roku.
