Apple TV tile/icon missing but app is installed & working

Roku streaming stick 4K model 3820R2 software version 15.0

I have the Apple TV app installed. One day its tile disappeared, but if I press the Apple TV button on the Roku remote it still opens and works fine, so the app is installed. 

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, factory reset and reinstalling the app (and all the others I use), network reset, unplugging from power - nothing helps.

I have noticed that sometimes if I restart the Roku, the Apple TV tile does appear for a split second with all the other app tiles right after startup, but then it instantly disappears.

P.S. The other odd thing about my Roku is around the same time this started happening, when I restart it, instead of seeing the bouncing ROKU letters, they are static and there's a UFO/flying saucer hovering above them.
