Apple TV app and AirPlay not working

For the past few months I have been unable to get the Apple TV app to run on any of my Roku devices.  That includes a Roku Ultra, a streaming stick+, and a TCL Roku TV.  They all produce the error message that "Apple T could not run because it could not be reinstalled from the network".  It's not a network issue as I'm able to add any non-Apple app I want and stream everything else.  I have tried all the troubleshooting steps suggested by Roku, but after reinstalling the app and trying to open it the same error appears.  What's even stranger is that trying to open / use AirPlay produces the exact same error message.  No other apps result in the error.  I'm on Roku version 14.6

    Thank you for reaching out to us about your concern with the Apple TV app. I also appreciate you taking the time to perform some troubleshooting steps on your end. Were you able to access the app before?

    We recommend that you try updating the Apple TV app. 

    1. Highlight the app you wish to update.
    2. Once the app is highlighted, press the star (*) button on your Roku remote.
    3. Select "Check for updates." 

    If the issue continues, please contact the Apple TV App provider for further assistance.
