[Waiting on partner] Max Channel - Stuck on Sign-In Screen

We're aware that some of you are getting stuck on the sign-in screen for the Max channel. Bummer!

Status Update 2/06: Our team is working on a fix with the Max channel

    I signed up for MAX recently.  Every time I want to watch MAX I have to sign in with account e-mail and password.  Talked to MAX support twice. So far we have removed the app, rebooted (and/or power cycled the Roku device), re-added the app, signed in choosing using another e-mail (rather than the Roku account e-mail-as instructed by MAX support) and entering the password.  Sometimes I get the sign in screen again but most times it works.

    Could it be a problem with ROKU not retaining the user account-password?????

    Very frustrating.

      I’m having the same issue. Suddenly in the past week this has been happening. Every day I need to relog into MAX. If this continues I’ll just cancel my subscription.

        We are having the same issue.  If we watch Max in the living room we have to log in, then when go to the bedroom have to log in again, every time.  It is getting extremely annoying

        And today it's working fine for me.  Did you try highlighting the app and checking for updates?  And also checking if the Roku software is up to date?

      I'm also having to sign in every time. I'm not getting all that info for each TV. 

      Please fix this.

    This is happening to me too. I have a 2024 Roku Ultra in the livingroom and a streaming stick in my bedroom. I have to login to both every time. Super annoying. Also, Max does not finish episodes. It always says I have a little bit left over on the previous episode I watched despite going far enough that it gives me the option to watch the next episode. Not sure if that is a roku or max issue.

    I have to log back in every time on Max on all Roku tvs I own. Today i watched 1 episode of a show and got signed out in the middle of a show.

    Hello. Recently we are constantly having to log back in to Max Channel. We never had to do this until we combined Hulu, Max and Disney+.

    I’m having that problem. When I access the MAX app on my Roku TVs there’s a 50% I’ll get the sign in screen. Hope this gets fixed.

      It's Roku fix the issue. Roku should have to pay my sub until you fix

    I’m charged for MAX through Roku and I can’t watch it. I can’t sign in or sign up. It recognizes that I have a current subscription but I can’t get past that screen.. This has been going on for weeks. When will this be fixed? 
    It’s very inconvenient.

      I was having the same issue for months and at the moment it seems to be working for me. The only thing I did different that I know of is that I used the "Top Picks For You" which appears at the top of the home screen for that last few items that you might want or have watched. One of those that appeared was a MAX series. Perhaps it re-synced my account. This may be a clue or has nothing to do with the problem at all. I was hopeful that Roku figured out the real reason and fixed it for everyone as I don't want that issue again!

        So here we are March 1st 2025 and this is still happening ! Same issue on multiple Roku devices yet other brand devices stay logged in trouble free.
