I am encountering the same error. This behavior started recently for me. I have an eero 6 Pro mesh network and my Roku Streaming Stick Plus 3830R now frequently fails to connect. The behavior goes away if I temporarily force my eero network into 2.4GHz-only mode. From my perspective it appears the Roku device is inappropriately connecting to the poor strength 5Ghz signal instead of the stronger 2.4GHz signal on the same SSID. I have a MacBook and am familiar with technology, please contact me if your engineering team would like to troubleshoot this with me.
