Hey everyone,
If you're seeing Error 014 when trying to connect your Roku device to Wi-Fi, please try the following steps:
- Double-check your Wi-Fi password to make sure it’s correct
- Try connecting to a different mobile hotspot, if you have one available
- Use Recovery Mode to reconnect:
- Press and hold the reset button on the back of your device for at least 20 seconds
- If your device has a pinhole reset, use a paperclip or similar tool
- The device will restart in Recovery Mode
- Use your remote to select your language and follow the prompts to reconnect to Wi-Fi
- Once connected, choose Update now to reinstall the system
If you’ve gone through all these steps and are still getting Error 014, we’re gathering technical info to help our engineers investigate further—and we could use your help!
