Just a little update from the team. They would like to know if you have tried using a Hotspot? If so, can you tell us if that worked?

Hello, yes.  I was able to turn on hotspot on my phone.  I tried connecting the Roku through the hotspot.  It didn't see the 5Ghz so I switched to 2.4Ghz and the Roku saw that network but wasn't able to connect and am getting the same error after entering the password. 

I was able to connect to my mobile hotspot fine from my laptop.
