Same all my apps work fine except for paramountplus. It's really irritating.

Subscription: Paramount Plus Limited Commercials
Device: TCL 55S403, Hardware Id: 7105S, Software version 14.5, wired to the LAN
App Version: 9.8 build 20250403
Behavior: As others have mentioned, hitting the "Skip Recap" button sends you back to the introductory commercial.
Trying to back up a few seconds sends you back to the introductory commercial
FF from the beginning of the recap to where you tried to back up also sends you back to the introductory commercial.

I'm having the exact same problem. Been this way for several weeks. I noticed that this issue has been unresolved for some time, Maybe ROKU or Paramount+ needs to hire a rocket scientist to fix an app problem. Sorry for the sarcastism but it doesn't appear this issue is being taken seriously.

Yes! Our has been doing this, too. We’ve tried all the suggestions that we’ve seen on here but nothing works. We just keep repeating to ourselves “don’t touch the remote” every time we watch Paramount plus. Our other streaming is fine. We can’t rewind, nor fast forward. Everything sends you back to the beginning commercial.

“When it happens, just let the show go for a few seconds then hit the back button to get out of the show. Wait for the little progress bar to show under the show icon. Hit resume and then it works!”
I let the show play for about two minutes before it works for me. A real pain but better than a restart.”
