How to turn Disney Plus subtitles on and off
I’ve recently downloaded the Disney Plus app which I am aware that most shows/movies on Disney Plus offer foreign language subtitles but I am not able to access the subtitles menu. I am not sure if this is an oversight on Disney Plus side or with Roku. I have the TCL 6 Series TV with Roku TV preinstalled. I don’t have any problems bringing up the subtitles menu through Disney Plus mobile app so I know they actually have a subtitles menu. I am aware that closed captioning can be activated by pressing the asterisk on the remote but that is not the same as switching to a foreign language subtitle while keeping the audio in English. While my son was watching Ravens Home on disney plus, as soon as he hit season 4 episode 1, the episode will play for about 3.5 minutes and then try to skip to the next episode. I spent over 2 hours online with tech support from disney plus, and did everything they could think of including a full factory reset of the roku, creating a new account on disney plus, and nothing worked. Is anyone else having this issue? It happened to us on The Mystery of Sulfur Springs season 2 as well...19KViews2likes32Comments
