Roku Streambar - Two Issues
Since there is no power saving for stream bar my unit rarely goes to sleep or deep sleep. Every once in awhile if everything is off and press Roku Home button it will turn on the TV. So it has something to do with power saving though it's not a setting the user can change.
Roku TV Platform removed from my home
So ROKU, I have to delete your TV from my home!!! All 75" of this screen is diving into the street of Loser Ave. Your platform is horrible, everything about your platform is deletably significant. It is now time to seriously weigh all smartTVs across the board or Projectors for that matter, but succinctly, it is a matter of removing your TV right this instant!
Philips Roku TV Sound Issue
I had an external speaker plugged into the TV for about 1.5 years. I haven't used the TV in a couple months. Now the sound doesn't work. Tried resetting the audio in systems, Tried it with and without the external speaker. Tried unplugging the TV for 5 min. Finally I did a factory reset. Nothing works. Hello, I, like many others here, am incredibly frustrated with the constant audio cutouts (randomly, at least 2-3 times per hour, sometimes 2-3 times every 5 min) while using HDMI sources connected to the TV. This issue is beyond annoying — it's a total "show stopper". (no audio cutout observed when using roku OS, although not using it a lot). I've gone through all the usual "troubleshooting" steps: swapping HDMI cables, power cycling the Streambar, etc., yet the problem still persists. When I use another soundbar from a different brand with the same TV and cables, it works perfectly — no issues, for years. What is even more frustrating is reading this issue has been ongoing for years with no real solution. Roku’s typical response of "we will contact you separately" is just lip service — it does little for the community at large, the expected purpose of this site. If this doesn’t get fixed very soon, I’ll be returning this product while I’m still within the return window. Turning off headphone jack mode while still plugged in to the headphone jack on Roku TV
I purchased a Bluetooth external device that enables me to use Bluetooth headphones with my non Bluetooth Roku Onn tv when plugged into the headphone audio jack on the tv. I am able to pair my Bluetooth headphones successfully to the tv using this device. I am wondering how to turn off headphone (jack) mode while it is still plugged into the tv so we can go back and forth from headphone to speakers without unplugging or unpairing the external Bluetooth device and wireless headphones. Please advise.
Streambar SE to composite connection
I just bought a Streambar SE and am trying to connect it to an older Samsung hdtv with an hdmi port as well as composite connections. I used a monster digital to analog/analog to digital combo audio converter to solve the lack of an optical port and could only get sound from the Roku and not from the OTA channels. crackling audio wireless soundbar
I have the roku wireless soundbar and this morning the audio was crackling. It made the sound blown out and crackling. This is the second time that this has happen and it starts happening a few months later. The only temporary fix that I have for it is a system restart.
