I am both a Microsoft A+ and CompTIA A+ certified IT Support Technician. I am also a certified electronics technician certified by the Electronics Technicians Association. I volunteer my time on this forum to answer tech support questions because the maker gave me this knowledge for a reason and has called me to use it in helping others. My professional work is limited to family members only and I have a very large family whose devices I support since I'm the only member of my family that has this advanced knowledge. I got my start working when I was 3 years old hauling my late father's music equipment in and out of gigs, and later fixing his equipment at 7 years old after receiving my first soldering iron. I have over 40 years of experience doing this kind of work.
