If you have a cable ISP (Xfinity/Comcast, ATT, Cox), try going into the router settings and changing (Edit) the 2.4 ghz settings so that the 'Wireless Mode' is set to b/g/n.

The above is generally affecting users with 2.4ghz-only Roku devices and these cable ISP providers.  Alternative option is to purchase a dual-band Roku device (uses 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands of a network) and then your device will likely connect to your 5ghz band and avoid this 2.4ghz issue.

If you cannot make the changes to your router yourself, contact your ISP and have them make this change for you.
