You can get a quick XML View of the installed channels on a Roku device via a web browser.
1. Find your Roku's IP address (Settings/Network/About). Use this IP address in command below.
2. Open web browser. Type in the following - http://RokuIPaddressNumber:8060/query/apps
(example... http://192.168.0.001:8060:query/apps)
Thank you! That worked.
I just wish Roku would make it easier by adding that function to the website.
Thanks, that works perfectly!!
3 years later. looking for this feature. Not available (still). Do they really look at these? Or just gives people the impression they care!
How many people are dealing with elderly family members remotely that are using a roku tv.
Their last TV died. Got a new one. family living closer went there. logged in with their roku info.
does that push the previously installed channels to the new TV? Not sure.
If it does, does it also push down the login info?
And if it doesn't.... can't seem to do it from the webpage my.roku.com.
They are paying for hbo max (outside of roku). searching channels on their channel page, it says it's installed. But can't add login credentials from web page. Even with me remoting into a PC in their house.
But loads of pages trying to upsell trials and paid services through them.
