This seems like a no-brainer, especially for Roku to make extra money on....

Sell Voice Pro remotes with either the 4 quick launch buttons removed, or with programmable buttons...

Even better, do both. Can't tell you the number of times the slightest touch from the remote falling or being sat on opens one of the 4 channels I don't use.  I'd happily pay for a remote where I don't have this problem anymore....or where the buttons are programmable.

Removing the buttons would probably make the remote MORE expensive. The services pay Roku for getting the buttons on the remotes.

Correct.  

I am asking them to make remotes, for separate purchase, either without the buttons or as programmable ones.
